“Open Educational Resources (OER) are teaching, learning and research materials in any medium – digital or otherwise – that reside in the public domain or have been released under an open license that permits no-cost access, use, adaptation and redistribution by others with no or limited restrictions” (UNESCO).
Dr. Indira Koneru Yalavarthi, the Founder has been promoting Open Educational Resources since 2009 at various national and international Faculty Development Programmes on eLearning, blended learning, MOOCs, eContent development, learning design etc. Her open education experience paved the way for designing, developing and delivering eLearning for Professional Development (eL4PD) Programmes and eLearning Internship Programme (eLIP) for engaging the participants in designing and developing OER-enabled eCourses.
In line with the UNESCO’s OER Recommendation on OER (2019), our Foundation’s training programmes build capacity of stakeholders to create, access, re-use, adapt and redistribute OER.
