eLearning Training

Training teachers and other stakeholders at all levels of education on eLearning is one of the objects of the HD Foundation. Dr. Indira Koneru Yalavarthi, the Founder has been promoting eLearning since 2005 at various capacities and at various national and international Faculty Development Programmes on eLearning, blended learning, MOOCs, eContent development, learning design etc. Her open education experience paved the way for designing, developing and delivering eLearning for Professional Development (eL4PD) Programmes and eLearning Internship Programme (eLIP) for engaging the participants in designing and developing Moodle-enabled and OER-enabled blended online courses.

Since its inception, the Foundation has been conducting Faculty Development Programmes on eLearning to equip the Higher Education teachers with the skills required to design and develop pedagogically-sound online courses. During the COVID-19 educational disruption, our Foundation responded rapidly and conducted 10-Day virtual eLearning Professional Development Programmes to 100 Higher Education Faculty in order to build resilient eLearning Management Systems and Teams at their respective campuses. A 3-Day FDP on Conducting Moodle-enabled Online Examinations conducted during September 2020 enabled the participants to conduct formative and summative assessments / mid-semester and end-semester examinations through Moodle.

HD Foundation is dedicated to building resilient online learning eco system in compliance with the regulations of the accreditation bodies and Universities, Colleges and School eLearning Policy.
